Has anyone else been nervous when pregnancy symptoms start to fade in the first trimester?
I am 10 weeks and 4 days pregnant today. I had an 8 week ultrasound on 9/12 and everything was mostly fine. Baby was growing well and had a strong heartbeat. There were two small umbilical cord cysts found but my midwife said those often will go away on their own, but we will do another ultrasound at 12 weeks to monitor.
I have had awful morning sickness and nausea from week 5 until just a few days ago I haven’t thrown up or felt nauseous the last two days and I have noticed less cravings than I’ve normally had. I have a little bit more energy than normal and my constipation has gone away 100%. I don’t have the extreme moodiness or emotional bursts either these last few days. While I am really grateful these symptoms are subsiding, I am also concerned that something might be wrong with the baby? I haven’t had any spotting and have only had mild cramps here and there.
Did anyone else get nervous when their symptoms started to go away nearing the transition to second trimester? Should I be concerned at all? I don’t want to sound crazy telling my OB office but I’m super anxious waiting for my next ultrasound.
Also, if anyone has had experiences with umbilical cord cysts, I would love to hear about it.
