Should I stop farming barter stuff?

Spent last 2 days farming pink barter untill stash is full (6 slots). Got all of it and ran to a bar through safest route, got 1shotted by a guy in blue armor/weapon, I have bulat-m and 3 arts for survivability. Most annoying thing that it was less than 100m from a bar entrance. Also that guy had stolen everything which is crazy considering I barely carried it with a huge backpack and buffs.

Not only I had wasted my 2 days but also got a negative profit from this whole operation. So I'm thinking about skipping all the barter shit and just focus on money and buy stuff from an auction. How does it sound? Should I do this?

P.S. He haven't send or auctioned my backpack.
