What Might Change Under Pres. Oaks?

News

I know I know. I'm getting way ahead of myself, but what is Reddit if not a place for stream-of-thought content?

I'll miss Pres. Nelson. His 7 years have been among the most transformative in modern church history. I'm sad he won't be able to rededicate his beloved Salt Lake Temple.

Pres. Oaks and Pres. Nelson were good friends, even called to the Twelve at the same time. Pres. Oaks clearly reveres his friend and fellow apostle. Nevertheless, the two historically have placed different emphases on different topics, as is the norm with any apostle.

So do you see any changes or even quiet reversions? I doubt we'll go back to three-hour church, but you could also see statues of Moroni quietly returning to temples, the removal of which was very much driven by Nelson himself.

Or what focus areas do you see Pres. Oaks bringing to the church given his pedigree and record of his ministry?
