Parking for Hot Milk at Rec Room (Buffalo 09/27)

hey figured i'd share some parking tips for the hot milk show since that area can get a little crazy.

honestly the easiest thing i've found is using an app called Prked. you can rent someone's driveway or garage right next to the rec room. it's usually way cheaper than the public lots and you get to completely skip the traffic chaos trying to find a spot. just park and it's a super short walk.

if you don't go that route, the venue's site says there's free street parking on chippewa, franklin, and delaware after 5pm on weekdays and all weekend, so since this show is on a saturday you might get lucky. just be prepared to circle for a bit because a lot of people will be trying for those spots.

if the street is full, there are a bunch of paid lots all around the area. they're not too bad, most are like a 7 to 10 minute walk away and will probably cost you anywhere from 6 to 15 bucks. there are lots at 347 franklin ave, 118 genesee st, and 364 franklin st that are all pretty close.

no matter what you do, i'd get there a little early just to be safe. that part of downtown gets busy with all the other stuff going on.
