Baking with brown butter

When a recipe calls for the use of brown butter, and it gives the amount of butter in the recipe. Does that take into account a reduction of weight? So, if the recipe says 226g butter to be browned, is it expecting 226g of brown butter or just whatever is remaining after it’s be browned? I hope that makes sense. (Question as I browned some butter before hand then just added that amount to the recipe)
