My skills are not skilling

My Ted Stevens has been declining lately because of my change of playstyle. Traditionally, I would use it as a long range missile spammer (gl slot is missile) with the support role, now I use it as a middle range with the brawler role (gl is manual).

Which could've been better? And is the DDGX a better brawler instead? Or the Sriwijaya (which I will be buying soon)?
