Help—news source recs needed!

Hey, I’ve been disengaged from the news for around the last year and have been off social media for the last couple months, too, so I’m feeling uninformed and want to lock back in and support journalism as well.

I’m looking for a news source that has a top-tier app, with a writing style that’s digestible on the go. I also would like the source to have good visualizations of data, like graphs and charts. I also really like the content in Pod Save the World.

Less important, but I’d prefer the source be left leaning; also, I live in Northeast Ohio, so any focus here would be nice if possible.

Let me know thoughts!
