I wish I had gone after the short guy

I (40f) see all the tall/short stuff and I’m happily married so this is just sort of randomly sharing. I’m 5’9” and never cared about height but for no actual reason never dated shorter than 5’8”. Many years ago I worked at a gym at the desk and the trainers used to come hang out with us. There was one guy that just lived his best life. He was hilarious and we could talk about anything. I was attractive enough or the environment was fueled enough but I wouldn’t have dated any of them (some tried). This guy was maybe 5’2” but again just so awesome. He never made any moves but I think out of respect, or ya know actually not being interested, he never showed interest besides spending all spare time with me at work. Self-confidence was not an issue for him. To this day I wish I had made a move, I wish I still knew him at least. If it had happened he probably would’ve been at least one of best experiences of dating ever. I don’t know it would’ve ended in marriage or been some life altering thing, but damn I missed out on him. So guys-be your awesome selves. That tall girl might be into you (if you’re into tall girls of course).
