Staring Peri/estrogen or not

50year old just missed 2 periods coming on 3rd. Other than recent night sweats, aches pains & bothersome stomach possible psoriasis,no major changes.Just saw my doctor(fm) &she offered estrogen patches & progesterone. Just said to email her if I decide to do it.Since, this is very new to me,any recommendations to take it or not? I’m grateful that my Dr (fm) offered it right away.Should I find anything else out before I do so? Any tests that I need to do for a baseline or check?Ty for the insights and wisdom.
