What is Destiny Solas:
Destiny: Solas is an unofficial show created in the style of Immersiplay, taking place within its own lore, containing its own characters and story, in an alternate universe of Bungie's Destiny.

What is Immersiplay:
Immersiplay is a style of in-game filmmaking that blends immersive roleplaying, lets plays, scripted gameplay, custom CGI, VFX, SFX, Sound Design, VO, Animation, music, and high production value, all to create a seamless experience blurring the lines between actual game content and faked elements.

There's a lot I can say about it. How this weird little movie length episode was the most difficult thing I've ever had to create in my 17 years working in games as a game trailer director. That this had the most unique challenges that required extremely creative problem solving. That this had so much heart poured into it that I don't really know where it ends and I begin. That I spent 10 years imagining this kind of filmmaking style within this universe. I've never been entirely happy with it, but what is there I think is honest. This little story, the words, the feeling, it all comes from deep within. 2024 was a brutal year for me personally, and a lot of my internal emotional state ended up in this piece, just like my other projects posted here. I know it took a long time, and for that I am sorry to have kept you waiting. Thank you for taking a second out of your day to see this little world I spent my life in. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this piece over the last 3 years.
