I’m ready to be hurt again

I’ve been a Reds fan all my life. I was 6 when they last won the series. I’ve suffered since the strike. I cried when they lost the play in to the Mets. I’ve cussed and thrown things when Halladay no hit them. I’ve refused to get too invested for about the last decade. But goddamnit, I’m ready.
