Dependent visa approved but passport with stamped visa not yet received (India)

Hi everyone,

I applied for a UK dependent visa from India and got the “decision made – successful” email on Thursday evening. However, when I check the VFS tracking website, it still shows only “application submitted” — it hasn’t updated to “decision received” or anything else yet.

I’m a bit worried because I haven’t received my passport back with the visa stamp, and the VFS tracking doesn’t reflect any progress.

For those who’ve gone through this recently:

• How long does it usually take after the decision email to actually get the passport back?
• Does VFS tracking update late or sometimes only after delivery?

Any experiences (especially from India) would be really helpful. Thanks in advance! 🙏
