Clinical RD thoughts

Hey everyone I wanted to jump in here as a soon to be RD eligible grad to ask dietitians as whole why do you think clinical inpatient RDs get bad reps? At every intern site I have been at all the preceptors have said the same old that clinical isn't for me xyz. So many people on here have said the same time and time again. My background is in the medical/surgical field already for quite sometime and I always just thought in patient could work for me. I am used to the hospital ways of the world aka the trauma and burnout [unfortunately] and dealing with other specialty healthcare providers etc. I was just so curious as to why inpatient seems to be so disliked besides the usual answers like burnout/ seeing a lot of pts and the in/out ness of it all and not connecting to patients? I don't know how it works in that area but I thought there would be specialties in the inpatient like ICU, SICU, different floors etc but overall just my seeing on this page.. is that like 75% if not more RDs hate it? Can someone maybe enlighten me a little bit maybe on a wider lens/big picture? Thank you!
