Opening new account (Scotiabank) and ID requirements

Banking

I've opened scotiabank account over a year ago (online) but never used it, finally went to branch and got a debit card BUT because I lost my driver's license recently (and with mail delivery messed up I don't know when I'll get it) I've provided my citizenship card as picture ID (accepted).

The issue was I didn't have another ID they'd accept so they noted I'll bring my license once I get it and put limitations on my account.

When reading on their site it mentioned bank statement (letter or email delivery) as acceptable secondary ID/proof of address, so should that be enough along with the citizenship card (mine is pre 2012 so it's acceptable ID)?

I kept getting different answers from different tellers and phone customer service and always after a long wait time, very frustrating
