Teen with NAFLD

My teen was diagnosed and has a pretty high ALT (152). He was referred to cardiology and GI. His cardiology appointment is Wednesday. What questions should I ask and is there any extra testing I should request if they don’t suggest it?

He already goes to our apartment gym 40-45 minutes daily, is in a huge high school so lots of walking around and stairs, and is in the band so he has practice/games 4 days a week for 2-3 hours after school. He orders salads at lunch. Breakfast and dinner are usually something processed that can be tossed in the microwave or air fryer because his schedule is so busy. I will start meal prepping something healthier that he can just pop in the microwave for those meals. I just don’t feel like he eats worse than any other teens. We don’t buy sodas or sweets. We only do “sweet treat Friday” where I take the kids for an ice cream because I don’t buy any treats to keep in the home.

Sorry this got long. I’m just confused.
