SLC 36 min layover, row 19, last flight of the night? Possible?

Delta in their infinite wisdom changed an upcoming flight so that I have 36 minutes layover in SLC at 10:30pm to catch the last flight of the night to PHX.

How likely am I going to make this connection?

What options do I have if we're delayed or the other flight takes off early?

I tried to change flights and the website keeps erroring out on checkout and now the only options are going to cost hundreds of dollars more.
