Confused on the ending of Silent Hill F (Fan Theories or Canon?)

There has been a lot of speculation around the ending of Silent Hill F, This is also my first Silent Hill game which somewhat explains why I've been loving this. Im mainly confused with the people that say her "running away" with Fox Guy (my memory is failing me 🧑‍🦲) is canon. I see the missing posters ect. But that doesn't explain the fact that the wedding is happening. We see her escaping her wedding, how is the possible if she ran away? IDK if this is me being dumb or NG+ but I'm bamboozled...
