And here we go again, she's back...
It's as if she knows that after nine months of illness, just when I'm finally feeling better, she suddenly shows up at a party in my residential/working community. I wasn't there myself. She comes to fill her emptiness with the energy of others. This was, of course, her first pin prick, to see if the air has cleared after her chaotic explosion last April. I'm going to see if my hyperventilation, which I finally have under control after months, stays away. I'm trying to let it go emotionally, but so-called 'friends' don't want to understand or are caught up in her lies and victim bubble. There is already talk of second chances, “everyone makes mistakes.” She will never apologize. People hardly talk to me anymore because I have isolated myself from the group for the past few months, which was my only remaining remedy for the constant stress I was under. She will again divide the group, now it was a party, next week she will offer some help, and in a month she will try to be active as a volunteer. She will certainly start harassing me again, slandering me, stalking me, and creating gossip threads. I will continue to actively ignore her, as I have done for the past nine months, when she comes to stand next to me. She will never hear another word or see another glance from me. Or should I do just that, finally confront her with the truth I have viewed about how sick (BPD combined with NPD) she is? For now, I feel unsafe, with no end to the rabbit hole in sight.
