No lightning/rain at night?

I'm 15 hours in and only seen rain during the day, is there no rain and lightning at night like DL1? Techland has been bragging about the environment, and if it's not on par with DL1 then they just rooted there own horn. The lighting is great, but we need more shit going on at night, give us some rain storms like DL1.
