No eDGE reward points for Travel!! Axis Rewards credit card

I recently book flight ticket from flipkart using Axis Rewards credit card. When after 7 days, I did not get any reward points, I called customer care to check why reward points are not yet credited.

They mentioned that the merchant category for this transaction is Travel and this falls under Transport and Toll and this category is not eligible for rewards points.

It's a news to me that Axis consider Travel under Transport and Tolls. Going by this logic all airline or travel aggregator booking will fall under Travel and No reward point at all for any card (All axis card exclude Transport and toll from reward points).

Is anyone else is aware of this or face something like this?
