Moving to Turkey — Torn Between Izmir and Istanbul, Need Advice🙏🏻

Hey everyone,

I’m 22 and currently in my final year at university. I’ve been living independently since I was 18, and I’ve built experience working in digital marketing and data analysis (as a freelancer)

I’ve recently decided to move to Turkey and set up an LTD company. My work will mostly be freelance/remote, but I’m torn between choosing Izmir or Istanbul as my new home.

Could anyone share the pros and cons of living in each city, especially for someone in my situation (young, freelance, planning to open a company, looking for a good balance between lifestyle and cost of living)?
