Kitty 0.43.0 - session starts with last tab not first

In versions prior to the new 0.43.0, I have a session being called with the following:

#launch --title General
 launch --title General bash -c "fastfetch; exec bash"
 
 new_tab
 launch --title Scratch
 
 new_tab
 launch --title Btop btop

It would always start with the focus being on tab 1 the one titled General. Now with the update to version 0.43.0 that last tab, the one titled Btop is displayed first. Why the change and what can I change so that the General tab is displayed and has focus on start?
