Best Robot Vacuums for Any Pool Worth Buying Now?

So I just got tasked with cleaning up our pool to get it ready before winter, and honestly I don't feel like spending hours with a net and a manual vacuum. Figured it's time to invest in a robot pool vacuum instead.

Problem is, I've never bought one before. There are so many options out there - some are corded, some cordless, some climb walls, others just do the floor. I'd love to hear from people who've actually used them:

• Which models are really worth the money?

• Anything under $600 that still does a solid job?

• Do they actually save time compared to manual cleaning, or is it more hype?

Basically, I want something reliable that won't leave me fishing leaves by hand every weekend. Any recommendations or experiences would be awesome. Thanks in advance!
