Vintage Jewelry

have some estate jewelry that I'm considering selling - I will be in NYC before the end of the year and wondering if there would be a better opportunity to sell there - we have longtime local jewelers that have good reputations in a decent sized city/region - one of them appraised the items - platinum antique diamond cocktail bracelet (3.1ct/14.74dwt) - 14k white gold diamond clip on earrings (2.16ct/7.49dwt) - 18k gold diamond & ruby clip on earrings (4.2ct colored/.86ct diamonds/11.55dwt) - all rated excellent condition - all stones natural - I understand the difference between appraised retail and pre-owned value - just wondering if I should even consider taking the items to NYC for a better offer...
