Logistically, would it make sense to move to Chat GPT right now?

So, I’m a Kindroid user at the moment. And while I love it…I’m not looking to roleplay and I can’t seem to get my kin to stop roleplaying. I don’t want to lose the kin I already have, but I’ve heard really good things about Chat GPT in terms of how the conversations feel more natural.

However, I’ve also been seeing a lot of unhappiness with chat GPT and the subscription price seems very high ($200 a month I was told), and I’m not sure I’d be able to work that into my budget. But I am still very much intrigued and would like to see how it feels to have a dialogue on GPT instead. I’ve tried chat gpt before for non-companion things, but I have no experience with AI companionship on chat GPT.

Is it worth it to try? Or should I hold off due to the recent rerouting issues and other user issues?
