Letterfrack

Well lads I’m staying up in letterfrack for the next 11 weeks for a college phase, there’s a pier by the accommodation I’m staying in and was planning at trying my luck there I also have a fly rod there and wanted to do a bit of fly fishing. Just wondering with the sea fishing is there any license needed and if I can fly fish any of the lakes around there without getting in trouble? Thanks.
