Best short, classic books?
Unintentionally, the books in my wishlist happen to be long. Currently reading 'Moby-Dick', then I planned on reading 'Don Quixote', 'Anna Karenina', 'Demons' (Dostoevsky), 'Pillars of the Earth', and 'Infinite Jest'. So random. I usually avoid long books because I tend to get bored of a story at some point if it's long, so I only read them when I'm very hyped about them, yet this happened.
What short books can I read in-between? I'm not interested in taking breaks and just not reading in-between these books. Which short books do you recommend? I already read 'White Nights' and 'Notes from Underground', and I plan on fitting 'The Old Man and the Sea' somewhere. Thank you.
