Looking for a beginner friendly temple

Good morning CT, I am looking for a beginner friendly Buddhist temple to start practicing and learning more. Some of the temples ive researched only practicing time in their native language therefore I wouldn't benefit from any teachings. I am in Litchfield county if that will help anyone provide better Information.

Also, this may seem unrelated. But part of my practice is walking meditation so I am also in search of easy, peaceful walking trails in the area. Ones that dont require actual scaling of mountains lol.
