Is it weird to get a Wii U just for Yoshi's Woolly World?

I completely slept on the Wii U and went from the Wii to the Switch.

My son is a big fan of Yoshi games and really wants to try Woolly World. However, I can't see many good games that aren't already on the Switch or other consoles.

Is the game worth finding a Wii U for? Is there anything else I can do or play that is exclusive to Wii U?
