Missing one day of church & the consequences??

So I live with my fiancé and it’s become regular for us and his family to regularly attend church together. I am younger than he is and come from a family who didn’t really show me the importance and value of God and church and things like that. Since we were only friends, his family had invited me every Sunday to church. I have gone with them every single time except for on the days his mother didn’t feel well enough to go. (Tired from work) Those days it was their choice not to go that day. Today, since yesterday I’ve been feeling kind of poor. And today I woke up worse. I worked all week, however I’m not fatigued I’m just sick. Congestion, coughing, slight headaches. Been taking your classic remedies and I prayed this morning that God would forgive me for not going today. My fiance told his parents and they received it with such anger. This almost made me hop out of bed in my state and start getting ready despite anything. I don’t want to disappoint them. His mom started to say how it was the enemy. My fiance believes that it’s you or and God, not you and others and also God. He told her that and also that they are always trying to guide people but end up forcing them and she was pissed. His dad made a comment about how when we want to go do things I’m fine but when it’s church I’m sick. That made no sense at all cause I’ve passed on outings because I don’t feel well. Then when they were leaving she came by to tell us to put the prédica on the screen so we could still listen, and my fiance just agreed. She called him rude and said this was sad. The pastor was supposed to talk to us today about our engagement but since I felt unwell it won’t be happening. Which I am sad about. Then she said “see, this isn’t it, you guys aren’t getting married.” I asked my fiance if she meant it and she said no, but I’m just shocked. I’ve never skipped out on church. Is this wrong? Or am I wrong?
