I don’t think these anti-ICE/Antifa crackdowns are gunna be very effective

You can arrest, but if you don’t prosecute or if the punishment is just a slap on the wrist, you only further embolden the resistance. National divorce would be a much better scenario to keep the peace, but would also weaken the last grasp of power our dying empire has around the world, so neither the kleptocrats on team D or R would go for it. Things are definitely accelerating. Newsome is doing the same sort of posturing that the various “right” wing governors were doing during Covid and Biden’s presidency.
