Sole Proprietorship: setup costs, taxes, etc

I'm looking for people who've set up an SP company and can share about their personal experience.

I'm a French iOS dev, recently moved to PP on a K-visa. I’m starting a new life here so I figured I should move my business here too.

But I'm reading tons of contradicting information online. For example: the law seems to say taxes are based on net income after deducted expenses, but I also heard most Cambodian companies don't have proper accounting. So how does that work in practice?

I'll probably hire an agent, but I'd love to hear from other expats who've done it.

How did you set up your SP? Were you happy with your agent? How much taxes do you actually pay (approx % of net income / revenue as the case may be) ? How much did you pay to set the whole thing up? How long did it take for you?
