Verbally answering server after saying the score and during their serve motion

What is the right way to respond to server after he calls the score and is in his serve motion?

Ask because I saw this recently... only one player did this in a local tournament and the receiving guy would verbally answer the servers after they called the score, on every serve. It obviously disrupted some people's service motion. This was a doubles tournament and no one else verbally responded, every one else stayed quiet and ready to receive.
