Can we talk about the point??

Hey friends. I recently moved here a year ago, I’ve worked in Salem for 5 years now and have always been local, but I’m so happy to finally be an official Salemite!!!

I have a few pet peeves though, as I walk my dog around my neighborhood, that I love!!!, I’ve noticed I can’t go 5 feet without encountering a massive pile of broken glass bottles that are spread across the entire sidewalk!! It’s almost at every street corner. My dog absolutely refuses to wear his booties. On top of this, a lot of dog owners over here do not clean up after their pet! I’m constantly stepping in dog poop on my walks.

I’ve also noticed that not many people keep their dogs on a leash in this neighborhood Which is great for them!!! That their furry friend sticks by their side without assistance! However, it could be dangerous. My dog is quite friendly but has severe anxiety, is a little unpredictable, and tends to be snippy if he’s overwhelmed. Multiple times I’ve had to scoop him up and run because he can’t handle a dog sprinting up to him like that.

I’m just wondering if anyone else has noticed stuff like this and if they say anything to anyone?
