Failed messages on Instagram

I think it’s just my account but on Instagram, my messages have been failing every time for 1 month already. I contacted Instagram but nothing has been working. I can post and comment on peoples posts but I can directly message people. I thought I would wait it out but it’s still failing my messages. I checked if my account was restricted but everything was normal. Can anyone help me fix this problem? Should I wait it out a little longer?
