I'm Rooting for Daboll Today

So all the talk all week has been that Daboll stands alone in wanting Dart to start. We already know that Daboll wanted Dart drafted as opposed to Schoen and the scouting department (that is, McDonnell and C. Mara) who wanted Shedeur. Now apparently Schoen (speaking for Mara?) is saying that the decision is on Daboll and Daboll alone.

Everyone in the Meadowlands expects Dart to fail and fail miserably today against the Chargers, or so it seems. It may be they even want him to fail.

And we hear that the players themselves are not enthused about Dart starting despite watching Russ suck donkey balls 2 out of 3 weeks.

And our old and reliable friend, Pat Leonard, is rumor-mongering that Daboll could be fired as early as Monday.

I'm on record saying the odds are stacked against Dart being a successful QB either in the short or long term.

And it is undeniable that Daboll has not looked like a competent coach.

But Schoen has proved to be worse than the worse of Reese and Gettleman as a GM. The roster blows.

And the DC is so awful that 3 weeks in people are already wondering why did we draft Abdul Carter?

With all that and the degree with which I despise the Mara's and the Giants franchise generally, for making my fan life so miserable, I am hoping against hope that Dart lights up the field today and the Giants come out on top. Fuck the Mara's. Fuck the Giants. Go Brian Daboll!!
