We get the ball back with 2:41 left, down 6 with all of our timeouts and the 2 minute warning
You'd think we'd run a 2 minute offense and pick up several quick underneath and sideline chucks of yards. I turned to my friends and said we would fail a a few deep shots like we had 20 seconds left. We had all the time in the world for quick passes, underneath routes, screens, plants, dare I say running plays, and we drop our non pocket QB into a pocket, 5 wide at times I believe with no protection and take long developing deep shots. Not sure if we even got them all off.
I blame this entire game on the offensive staff. This is just an example where underneath yards would have been easy to come by, but it goes for the whole game.
Their playcalling and non scheming reminds me of someone who has never played NCAA and just runs Hail Marys every play. We aren't going to improve because they don't know what the fuck they are doing.
