Can an urgent care center refer me to a dermatologist for skin cancer concern, specifically weird mole growth/pain?

I wanna get a dermatologist appointment ASAP but I do not have a primary care doctor. I figured urgent care might be my best bet to get the ball rolling? Am I wasting my time and money? I'm poor, so not looking to go if they won't help with referrals.
