70% PTSD, filing increase, need joint and back…

VA Disability Compensation

Good morning all, I’m rated 70% PTSD and long story short, both my VA psychologist and psychiatrist have pretty much said with where I’m at I should file for an increase. I’m torn, but some things are just getting worse. Like hard tondo my job worse. I’ve been out twenty years and rode the “other guys have it worse so I’m not making any claims” bus for a really long time before the PTSD kicked in and I put in for it. I did put in claims for knees, ankles, and both lumbar and cervical spine a few years back for “moderate degenerative changes” and ongoing moderate to severe pain, for which I was denied and I didn’t really fight at all.

So, my question is this. I have enough legit documentation of my symptoms I think for an increase for my PTSD, but my referral appointments for all the other stuff are booked out for months. If I put in for the PTSD increase now and then reapply for my neck, back, knees, ankles etc, later, say 6mo plus from now, is there a chance they decrease my PTSD again during the other claims evaluation if i get the increase? I have a million other irons in the fire and nothing I can do to reduce them, so just trying to do what I can when I can. Any input or experience would be appreciated.
