Is Joel Villanueva genuine?

Are there any Filipino's here? Considering he is a co-founder of Jesus Is Lord Church. I wanna dive deeper with this to know whether he really is involved or innocent with the corruption as he's said but in my opinion tho I think he is involved. I have certain Christian people who defends him publicly tho despite the allegations and I wanna hear your thoughts on it. I think JIL have a bit of prosperity gospel too, hopefully I'm wrong.
