GSA to 1200xe

1250 GSA owner. Love the bike does everything well. But it’s so dang big! I don’t have time for long trips so I commute on it which it’s great at, very comfortable but it’s cumbersome around town, or to maneuver out of the garage. I test rode a triumph 1200xe obviously a different style bike and I like how much smaller it is and nimble! Good power, comfortable. Performance wise the BMW still blows it out of the water. But it’s got me questioning what has motorcycling become? You’ve got 1000lbs Harley’s with a stereo, wind protection, luggage, the GSA is ready to traverse continents but realistically who has the means to do that? I think now days im after simplicity and ease of use. What’s your take?
