!This is your last spoiler warning. If you have not finished the game, please, do not read what is below nor the comments under this post and spoil yourself one of the most shaking video game experiences I've lived in close to two decades of gaming.!<

!I chose the Verso ending. Just like that, I chose to destroy the painting, to destroy its outstanding beauty, its countless sentient innocent lifeforms and the bright future ahead of them.!<
!I'm shocked and shaken by my own decision, yet I don't regret it one bit. I saw the way Maelle clung on to the painting desperately as a way to escape her grief, and as a former teenager who chose so many times to barricade himself in a virtual world to escape the very difficult realities of his life, when the game gave me the option to put an end to it, I barely hesitated.!<
!Just like that, I betrayed all of the citizens of Lumière, all the brave previous expeditions, and more importantly, all of the members of my own expedition who fought and bled with me through so many bullshit, unreadable combos.!<
!I feel like an unspeakable, cowardly dog, yet I did it and I know it was the right decision. I did it out of love for Maelle and out of justice for my own teenage self.!<
