Console Split-Screen

Does anyone know if the developers have mentioned anything or what the likelihood of Enshrouded having Split-Screen capability on consoles when 1.0 launches?

I know it's very demanding to load 2 instances of the game, but I think more games should try and integrate couch co-op. Especially with enshrouded having such an emphasis on team play. I'd love to play with my girlfriend or roommate without having to have two separate consoles in two separate rooms
