What accounts for variation in Iranian Neolithic farmer percentages?

I’m a Punjabi Sikh jatt with an interest in ancient Indian history. Recently took my dna test and I’m pretty much average for a jatt. Just curious why Neolithic Iranian farmer percentages differ among Indians if we all descend from the same IVC population? Should it not be roughly the same? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I’m new to this topic
