Freezing/rewinding streams

I’ve paid for lifelong subscription to the app as I think it’s absolutely brilliant, but I’m getting quite close to moving to something different. My streams work perfect on other platforms (tivimate on firestick etc) but on UHF on Apple TV the live steams will often pause and/or repeat the last few seconds. Does anyone have any recommendations on settings for the Apple TV app (newest 4k model, Ethernet with +600Mb fibre optic internet) that might fix this? I’ve tried all players and turning on/off different settings for ksplayer and whilst I can see some impact, nothing seems to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
