Myth and event story

Zayne flair because it's currently zayne's myth Hello everyone. I've been meaning to ask this since rafayel's 3rd myth dropped. The myth event stories are in the same timeline as the myth , unlike for example Sylus' limited myth where they were looking for a gem and Caleb's where they were playing a VR(?) game.

So my question is, for those who read zayne's new myth. Does it tie to the event story? As in one happens before/ leads to the other?

Assuming I unlock the myth , should I read it first then the event story( I am unlocking the event story chapters everyday ofc) , the other way around or they're completely separate.
