Trying to get auburn hair

❓ Advice Needed

Hello all. I’ve been trying to get a specific shade of red hair - 8/43 to be exact. My natural hair is dark brown, almost black and I bleached it a couple of times to a blonde. Then I put on a vivid copper dye kit, but realised this isn’t the colour I wanted. Then I put on a natural copper - still not the colour I want. My hairdresser advised the Wella hair dye so I checked online and bought the 8/43 dye and developer. I’ve put that on today and it’s made the colour more of what I was after but it’s still lighter than what I’m wanting. It has done my natural roots to the colour I want. Do I need to bleach my hair again to get the colour I want? Or should I dye it brown then redo it? I have left my hair a good few weeks between dying and using colour shampoo and oils to make sure it doesn’t get totally fried 😆
