Dr Elseys clean protein kibble

One cat is newly diagnosed diabetic. Follow up Vet visit labs are great, on Bexicat. Switched from Hills Science kibble to Tiki cat Born Carnivore 43% protein, only for the overnight hungries. Eating grain free wet food, of course. Neither cat is in love with this type of Tiki cat, but it's there overnight. Other cat is a picky eater, sensitive stomach, prefers kibble, on bladder prescription dry food. Got a few samples of Dr Elseys kibble, due to the diabetic cat. He inhales it! I only put a handful down at bedtime( meant to last overnight), but he eats it all in a flash, , even after just being fed wet. Then he drinks A LOT of water right away and overnight after eating Dr E at bedtime.. Has anyone else noted a lot of water drinking with Dr Elseys?. One time after the excessive water drinking, diabetic cat vomited up the water. Other cat vomits after eating a little bit of Dr E....2 different flavors. Guess Dr E kibble is a "no" for these cats. Any other recommendations for overnight kibble for diabetic cat? Going back to Tiki cat Born Carnivore, that is now ignored.. I may just get an auto wet feeder....for overnight .
