Well this draft went nuts.

I don't like this format at all but its one benefit is that it does let you draft fast. This is my 37th draft since release on MTGA.

Overall I'm down -5300 gems with a 59% win rate 85-60. I'm 25 rares and 9 mythics from playset completing the set.

Okay on to the draft.

First pick was Viggo and Zan as first picks.

Got three 3 Knife tricks back to back to back. And a wisecrack with a Orris.

2nd pack.

Hex of Undeath and Demmara as first picks in a triple rare pack. (Orther rare was a duckmourn's claim)

Got a desecrex and Deathflame bolt passed to me immediately.

Duskmourn's claim made it back around and a regret not taking it. One of the rare I didn't have a complete playset of and the card I took, lurking lizards, I didn't even end up playing. Only thing really good I got out of the rest of the pack was the 2nd wisecrack.

3rd pack.

Ademi was my rare. Also a rare I didn't have a complete playset off. However I took. 2nd zan and a Chizak.

Then things got nutty.

Next pack passed to me netted me villainous wrath and savage mansion.

Pack after that... hex of Undeath and Favored fighter.

Last pack was Bracko and Shock.

So yeah... My deck got pretty stacked.

On to games. I'm in the middle of diamond.

First game.

Blue Black villains.

I get a double mountain as opening lands and nothing playable Mulligan into a basic of each and toss a knife trick to bottom of deck.

Game isn't going anywhere fast. I manage to get two hits in and get him down to 13 with still being at 19. I manage to ramp a bit with and am up to 8 land when he drops the watcher and make boatload of token luckily I have a wise crack and get rid of him.

However he has Kavaero. Which drops copying the watcher and makes 4 tokens. Followed by the cloner who brings him up to 9 tokens. Only card in my hand is Hex of undeath with only restless razor-ken in the grave. He has lethal on board next turn with 17 creatures. I top deck.... Villainous wrath.

1-0

Game two is against blue black again. My opening hand has both Hex of Undeath and no creatures but I keep as its 3 lands and two removal spells I can cast. I'm also on the play. The game is slow. turn 5 I stick van. Then turn sick I play big side of Viggo and get an attack off sack van to draw 5 and put a permant in play... another van. He manage to remove my board twice. Once through blocks then again through his own copy of villianous wrath. However my two Hex of Undeaths just instantly rebuild the board and he can keep up with the value

2-0

Third game is vs Naya. He has a fast start but my hand is spot removal along with Villianous wrath and hex of undeath. He still manages to batter me down to 5 but his board and hand is gone though mine is as well. I then play the Hex of Undeath and he scoops. Got back Zan Orris and Brako.

3-0

Fourth game was vs someone I think was #218 Mythic. Esper deck.

I'm missing red mana and have Only Brako and later a knife trick to play. Luckily he stumples of a bit on mana before getting his fourth keeping him from running away from with the game. Letting me finally get a red mana. I'm able to build a decent board but am down to 10 while he is at 20. I top deck into Viggo. Drop him and hoping to swing out and start really pressuring my opponent however he plays Outsmart the Amateur... and think he misclicks. Cause he draws 3 instead of countering the viggo. I swing out getting to draw 3 and I think my opponent shame scoop.

4-0 event complete.

Welp That was pretty stupid. As you can see no really great or clever plays on my part. I just bullied my opponents with multiple mythics and bomb rares that game me stupid card advantage.

Still I guess I'm happy to have mostly completed the set. Not sure if I will do any more drafts after this. I think I can finish up the rest with mastery pass rewards.

Anyway just thought this one was worth mentioning.

Well this draft was absolutely disgusting.
