I’m scared of boric acid

I’ve had reoccurring yeast infection for A YEAR!!!!! it’s literally ruining my life. Anyway - I’ve seen on here boric acid has been super helpful. I live in the UK and I’ve found a website that I can buy it from. What are the risks with boric acid? Can I use it and use canesten cream? And take probiotics?
